sweetya stories: Exhibition

Last year, On October 17-21, 2012, a company where I work joined an exhibition in Jakarta. It was called Trade Expo Indonesia, located in Kemayoran Jakarta. I was happy cause my boss asked me to join too.

That was my second chance to be an exhibitor. First, when I worked in UBS Surabaya. The company joined the biggest jewellery exhibition, located in Empire Palace Convention & Exhibition Hall Surabaya on 30 oktober – 2 November 2010. I met Putri Indonesia Karenina Sunny Halim. She was the ambassador of UBS. I was pleased 

In Trade Expo Indonesia, I met the president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and the new mayor of Jakarta Joko Widodo. They visited our bamboo house and looked around. It was my first time to meet SBY directly. Even though I didn’t take pictures with him, I was happy especially when he walked in front of me. Wow, I never guess before, that in my life, I can see the president in less than a meter.

About Joko Widodo, I have ever met him several times before, since he was the mayor of Solo. I think, I met him firstly in Slamet Riyadi street on Sunday Morning Car Free Day. Then, when I saw Solo Batik Carnival, he was so handsome riding a horse. Thirdly, when I saw Matah Ati show in Mangkunegaran Solo. Actually, there was a VVIP seat for him, but he liked sitting on a wooven floor like other Solonist who had free tickets. And lucky me, he sit right in front of me. Wow wow wow, everybody screamed and screamed. Some offered him to have peanut etc. Some were busy to take pictures with him.

Beside them, I also met the minister Mr. Gita Wirjawan.
